Amigos Gaelic Skills Challenge

Well done to all the children who took part in the amigos Gaelic skills challenge. The girls team consisted of Anna, Ellen, Lauren and Susannah and Hubert, Jack and Stefan represented the boys. 2nd Class Art

Saint Patrick’s Day Celebrations – 2nd Class

Lá Glas was a very exciting day in second class. We had a catwalk show in our room to show off all the lovely costumes, sang Irish songs and made 3D shamrock cards.

Spring Lambs and Chicks

We painted lambs and used chalk for the grass and marker to add the facial features. We also used our colouring, cutting, matching and sticking skills to make chicks.


Pancake Day in Junior Infants

We had pancakes on Pancake Tuesday. Some of us had plain pancakes others had syrup or a squeeze of orange and some had both.

Spring Art in Junior Infants

As part of our science topic we were looking at air – how we know it’s there and how we can change things or move items using air. We made bubble paintings by blowing into a mixture of paint and bubble mix. We then drew round and cut out flowers and a butterfly and stuck them on a background to make spring scenes.
