Giraffes and Elmer in Junior Infants

As part of our Aistear topic we read the story of Elmer and made our own Elmers. We also made giraffes. We had to do a lot of cutting, sticking and colouring. We think they look great.

Santa in Junior Infants

Santa has come to Junior Infants.  We used different materials to make our Santas – paint, glue, cotton wool and crepe paper.

Penguins in Junior Infants

We made penguins in Junior Infants. We coloured our shapes in then cut them out and finally glued them together.

Pumpkin Monsters in Junior Infants

We made pumpkin monsters for Halloween. First we painted the pumpkins then we drew around templates for the mouths and eyes, cut them out and stuck them onto our pumpkins. Some of us decided to add teeth.

Humpty Dumpty in Junior Infants

We did some work based on Humpty Dumpty. We cut out pictures and placed them in the correct order to show the rhyme. We coloured pictures of Humpty Dumpty. We cut out the parts of Humpty then put them together and made a wall for him to sit on.

Self Portraits by Junior Infants

We worked really hard on our self portraits. We looked carefully at the colour of our eyes and hair. They look just like us!

Painting in Junior Infants

On Friday we painted our faces. We will be adding our features next week.
