As Principal of Ransboro National School,I would like to extend a warm welcome to you to our school and to our school website.  Our school is a vertical, co-educational school catering for boys and girls from Junior Infants to 6th class. We have a very vibrant school and our wonderful team of dedicated staff work together to create an inclusive and successful learning environment where everyone feels happy, safe, respected and valued.

We promote a positive culture in our school and the values of kindness and respect are at the heart of everything we do. 

In partnership with our pupils, parents, the Board of Management and the Parent’s Association, we strive to provide each child in our care with a rich educational experience and to help every child to reach their full potential.

Well done to all the children who took part in todays SuperValu Athletics Fest in Sligo ATU in not so favourable conditions☔️! Well done to all the children who competed in the Sligo Schools Cross Country event today in Rathcormac. We had 4 teams entered - junior boys, junior girls, senior boys and senior girls. All the children ran exceptionally well. The junior girls and senior girls teams won silver medals 🥈🥈, the senior boys won bronze 🥉. The junior boys ran well against a very large group of runners. Congrats to Emily Healy who finished first in the junior girls 🥇. We are very proud of each and everyone of you. Thankyou to the children, parents, organisers and Ms Wetherald!
