Christmas Fayre 2012

This video captures the atmosphere of the Sligo Christmas Fayre which took place in the Stephen Street Car Park on December 8/9th, 2012. It features pupils from our school choir carol-singing at the event.

Have you got your stocking up for Santa Claus?!

We made Christmas stockings from felt. First, we picked the colour for our stocking and then we sewed them with gold thread!  We stuck on a white trim and decorated them with stickers, felt, hearts, stars and glitter!  We love our stockings and we wonder will Santa see them on Christmas Eve! We each then completed a written project on The Normans using the information we learned at school along with our own individual research.

Our County

Some of the topics included in our projects were physical features of Sligo, the history of Sligo, tourist attractions and landmarks, famous Sligo people and industry in Co Sligo. We also sourced or drew suitable illustrations to enhance our projects.
