Some weeks back 1st class made beautiful snowflakes with the help of 6th Class. They created these using just paper, scissors and sellotape. 6th Class helped them cut, fold and stick in the correct places for the first few sections, and by the end of the lesson, 1st Class were able to do it on their own! Looking out the window at the beautiful winter scene all day, we just couldn’t resist stepping out into the snow. Here are some pictures of the fun we had.
1st Class have been very busy making beautiful art pieces for the Christmas season. They created a winter scene using crepe paper and paint, Santa and his reindeer flying over a moonlit sky using paint, and they also made some clay ornaments for their Christmas tree. A magic spell was put on 1st class this week as all of the children became trapped in snow globes. Luckily they all got out safely but some of the snow did manage to come out with them and is all around our roads to see. They used their experience to write some very interesting stories about their time in the snow globe.
