We made 2-D and 3-D shapes using marshmallows and spaghetti. When we used long spaghetti, our shapes were shaky and unsteady, so we decided to break the spaghetti in half. Senior Infants are learning about autumn and harvest time. In art, we made these scarecrows to scare away birds from the crops! We gave our scarecrows names and had great fun making them. We learned a song called Dingle Dangle Scarecrow. Here is a link to our song and some photos of us!
Senior Infants visited Sligo Fire Station and Kevinsfort Playground today. The fire fighters showed us the equipment they use to help rescue people from fires and car crashes. Senior Infants created these PPPPPPPerfect Penguins!!! Firstly, we painted our background and then stuck on our penguin body. We decided to decorate our penguins with different art and craft materials. We gave our penguins names, Chilly was the most popular name…we’ve no idea why;)!!
