Our new Litter Mural, completed in the first term by Rang V and Rang VI under the guidance of visual artist Karen Webster, has now been temporarily mounted in the school hall. We’ll have further information on this mural soon.

We discovered that there was an unusual visitor to The Glen last Thursday night. It appears that one of Santa’s elves visited The Glen, had a look around to check up on pupils and left a small gift.

We are starting the “Handwriting Without Tears” Programme. This is the first song of the programme which teaches that letters start at the top.

We are doing the story of Jack and the Beanstalk this week. Here is a lovely video version of the story.

We are learning a new rhyme this week called “Five Little Monkeys Jumping On The Bed. This is the video for the rhyme.

One of our pupils compiled these videos, using the Tellagami App, for a school assembly last week to explain to pupils what living with autism is like. Living With Autism Living With Autism 2 The Glen @ Ransboro

This video contains the rhymes for learning the sounds in the Jolly Phonics scheme.

We are doing the story of “Room on the Broom” for Hallowe’en this week. This is a lovely video version of the story.
