As part of our study of Africa, 4th Class have been learning the Africa-Toto Irish language version of the song. They did really well learning some of the difficult lines and sounded brilliant. Here is a recording of them singing it in class. They loved performing it at assembly! Well done 4th Class!!

They were particularly interested in Nelson Mandela and his fight for freedom and equality. We read a very good book in class- A Long Walk to Freedom- a children’s version of his own writings
.
