Construction work on the new extension to the school will commence tomorrow, Monday May 19th. Builders will be accessing the school site through the church yard, thanks to the kind co-operation of Fr. Mc Crann. From Monday, there will be no parking facilities for parents in the church yard. Parents are advised to park outside the far wall of the church, on the Strandhill side, and walk their children to the school.
On completion, the new building will house The Glen, consisting of a central activity space, kitchenette, office, toilets, two classrooms, sensory room, sensory garden. It will also include another mainstream classroom and storage areas.
We appeal to parents to take extra care and precautions over the coming months to ensure the safety of all during construction work. This is a very exciting time for the whole school community. Sincere thanks to our excellent Board of Management who have been so actively involved in the process to date.
