In October the school participated in the Active School’s Skip Around the World Skipping Challenge which involved daily skipping. Classes could choose a destination to skip to with each skip equalling 1km, for example 3rd class skipped to New Zealand. 2nd class (T.W) decided to just see how far they could skip and they’ve decided they want to keep going!
It was great to see the improvement in skipping skills over the year with some children opting to try more challenging styles of skipping.
