We really enjoyed science week. We made helicopter spinners and looked at what made them spin. We also explored what happened if we dropped them from different heights, threw them up, dropped them upside down and used them outside. Working in pairs we took it in turns to record our experiments on the Ipads.
Squeezing milk cartons to send our rocket mice up into the air demonstrated how increased air pressure can send something flying.
On Friday we attended a science fair held by 4th class and looked at their interesting displays and amazing experiments and models.
