Congratulations to all the children who ran in the Sligo Primary Schools Cross Country event on Saturday 21st September. We had four teams competing - junior girls, junior boys, senior girls and senior boys. All of the children ran very well and all completed the course. Both the junior and senior girls won silver medals with Emily Healy (junior girls) receiving gold for finishing first in her race. The senior boys won bronze with Liam Healy finishing 4th overall. The junior boys competed very well in a very large group of runners. The junior girls, senior girls and senior boys are now through to the Connacht Primary Schools Cross Country on Saturday 12th October in Mohill.
