Making Smoothies

On Friday, when the girls in the class had gone to visit the Mercy secondary school, we made smoothies in the school kitchen. We used pineapple, banana, kiwi, pear, apple, oranges, melon, blueberries, blackberries, yogurt and honey. Hurling Video

On Wednesdays 6th class do hurling. The coaches name is Benny. During the lesson we do drills and short games. Many of us have learned lots of new skills. It is great fun and we all enjoy it  and are always looking forward to Wednesday. Here is a stop motion video  our teacher made using an ipad.


Potato Power

In 6th class we did a science experiment using potatoes. We learned that potatoes are made up of about 75% water. Our experiment was to see how well the potatoes held the water.
