Junior Infants Nativity Play

  On Monday, Senior Infants to Sixth Class went to the hall to watch the rehearsals for the junior infant’s nativity play. The girls were angels and the boys were shepherds. Connacht Dancing Championship

  Last Friday, I won 2 Cups and 5 medals in the Connacht Dancing Championships.  I did two heavy shoe dances and two light shoe dances.  I got lots of photographs taken and I stood on a podium.

Singing at the Hospice Celebration of Life

Last night we were invited to sing at the Model for the North West Hospice.              There was a great turn out; forty-one pupils attended the celebration of Life. Our School Tour

We went to Parkes Castle,  The Holy Well, Dooney Rock and Lough Gill on our school tour.  We went on a boat ride on Lough Gill.

2nd, 3rd & 4th Class Tour 2011

2nd, 3rd and 4th class went on their school tour last Wednesday. we visited Parkes Castle, took a boat trip on Lough Gill, went for a forest walk in Dooney Wood and paid a visit to Tobernalt Holy Well. Here are some pictures taken before the batteries in the camera ran out!


6th Class Graduation Song

School Cookbook

Our school has just finished creating a cookbook. It has all sorts of recipes in it – starters, main courses, desserts and cakes and breads. The pupils designed pictures for a competition to illustrate the cookbook. One picture was chosen for the cover of the cookbook. It was designed by Ciara H in 5th class.
