On Wednesday afternoon this week, all the pupils in 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class went to the hall to take part in an Advent Table Quiz. Most of the teams consisted of one pupil from each of the classes. There were eight rounds with six questions in each round. All of the questions were based on the theme of Advent, the birth of Jesus, the Bible and Christmas Carols. At the end of the quiz, there was a clear winner, but there had to be a tie-break to decide 2nd and 3rd places.
The winning team consisted of Eimear (6th), Claire (5th), Anna (4th) and Tadhg (3rd). The 2nd placed team consisted of Sam (6th), Ruairí (5th), Jacob (4th) and Kevin (3rd). The third placed team consisted of Ellen (6th), Grace (5th), Ferdia (4th) and Alex (3rd).
