On Thursday 20th of September we had a coffee morning. Each class got a biscuit and a cup of orange juice. The parents came in from 2 O’clock to 3. We raised about 700 euro. All the money went to the Northwest Hospice. We all had to pay 1 euro. Some infants stayed after school. The parents got coffee/tea and a biscuit
We asked some of the children what they thought about the hospice.
- It’s good that school is giving money to charity.
- A nice treat.It’s good that we are raising money for charity.
- It’s nice to think we’re putting money to good use.
- I thought it’s good to be supporting hospice.
