Imelda Ryan and Bluebird her puppet came to the school today to talk to us about Travel and Transport for the Green School. She talked to the school at assembly in the Halla about Safe Cross Code, Walking more, cycling more, holding your parents hand when you are walking, using the bus more, sharing lifts, wearing bright clothes when walking, not disturbing the driver when driving, wearing seat belts. She gave the junior and senior infants bright straps for their schoolbags and gave 1st up to 6th class bright jackets. The photograph shws Rang II and Rang III wearing their bright jackets. These will keep us safe on the road.
