The Titanic

Picture by Ryan  The Titanic sunk 100 years ago when it hit an iceberg. It was built in Belfast and took three years to build. Everyone said that the Titanic was unsinkable. It had enormous propellars. The top speed of the Titanic was 25 knots. The crew didn’t believe that there was a hole in the ship. 710 people survived and 1500 people died.

I made a Titanic model from a spare wooden beam that my Dad had.  We put copper funnels on the top. Mum and Dad helped me, it was great fun! L.G, 2nd Class
