There is usually great excitement in September about the SuperValu Athletics Fest organised by Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership. This year it was slightly different as it was a stay local event. Each 100m relay team was timed by the coach as was each individual 200m runner. Well done to all the children who competed in the Athletics Fest at Knocknarea Arena on Friday 17th October. A total of 36 children from our school competed in the event. All competitors performed very well with three of our nine relay teams reaching the final of their events.
