On Friday our ‘buddies’ from 6th class came to work with us for the first time. We practised our colouring, cutting and sticking skills.
Some colouring, cutting and sticking work based on the story Peace At Last. We worked really well, didn’t need much help and didn’t get too much glue on the tables! Miss Wetherald was very happy with our work.
On Wednesday we visited the school library and enjoyed looking at a selection of books. We will soon be able to borrow books to read at home.

The children have been learning all about the signs we see of Autumn and Hedgehogs. We went on a nature walk around the school the other day and the children saw leaves changing colour, berries and beechnut seeds that had fallen from the trees. Their Autumn art has created a beautiful display over our nature table in the classroom.
Mickey Downs put all the classes through their paces, junior infants to 2nd enjoyed a variety of activities and 3rd to 6th tried circuit training.
All the classes were paired up to learn a dance with Aoibhín Buckley and enjoyed showing off their dance moves.
