Football Kicking Competition

Congratulations to Anna McDaniel who won the final of the kicking competition in Collooney on Wednesday.  She was the outright winner after missing only one of her kicks.


GAA mini sevens

Well done to  Zoe Gordon, Orna Murphy, Lisa Kilfeather, Nessa O’Sullivan, Eva White, Áine Harte, Lauren Healy, Susannah Gilligan and Anna McDaniel who represented the school in the mini sevens finals in Collooney on Thursday 12th April. Unfortunately they lost out to Rathcormac in the semi-final.


Girls Win Cumann na mBunscol Final

Our girls football team won our section of the Cumann na mBunscol on finals day in Markievicz Park on Saturday June 11th. Claiming the title for the first time in five years, the girls defeated a spirited side from St. John’s NS, Ballisodare. GAA Amigos Skills Challenge

Congratulations to Liam, Cormac, Andrew and Jamie who won the Sligo final of the GAA Amigos skills challenge. The challenge was held in Summerhill College on Thursday 3rd March. Twelve schools from around the county participated with four players on each team. Teams were tested on their soloing, kick passing and point scoring ability. GAA Around Ireland Video

Well done to Jack in 6th class who features in the new GAA Around Ireland video. This was an all Ireland schools collaboration video where each of the 32 counties passes the ball to each other through a variety of GAA sports. It will be shown in Croke Park at the launch of the GAA Go Games.
