In art we drew snails and decorated their shells. We stuck them up and added shiny trails.

After some children from the school participated in a biathlon in December, Pentathlon Ireland came to the school to give the children from second class to sixth a fencing taster. We are really enjoying our latest novel The Legend of Spud Murphy. Spud is described as a ninja librarian. Snowmen During art we made clay snowmen. We waited a week for the clay to dry then painted them and added eyes, noses, mouths and buttons. Some of us then added a scarf. This is a video of what our snowmen looked like when they were finished:
