On St Brigids Day 1st February the First Communion and Confirmation classes got together and made St. Brigid’s crosses. The dates for the Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation for 2013 have been confirmed. Bishop Christopher Jones will administer the Sacrament of Confirmation for Ransboro and Strandhill schools in Ransboro Church on Thursday May 16th at 11am. First Communion will be celebrated on Saturday May 18th at 11am in Ransboro Church. We send best wishes to those preparing for these sacraments.
On Monday May May 29th we had an ice-cream party in our classroom in school. Mr. Quinn bought some wafers for the class. He put the ice-cream in the middle of the two wafers. On the 22nd May Rang II made their First Holy Communion. We had to be at the church at 10.40am. When the mass started we all had to walk up to our places. We were all excited.
