We had a busy first half term in second class. In art we used our imaginations to turn circles into different items, made spooky pumpkins for Halloween and used pastels to create falling leaves. In maths we played games, tested our maths thinking with odd one out, would you rather and maths eyes pictures. In English we wrote recounts and procedures, started our first novel and for Halloween wrote recipes and poems. We used the iPads to practise our coding skills, create books on book creator and to play Irish, maths, spelling and reading games. We really enjoyed the skipping challenge and will continue to skip over the year.
