In 2021, our school was fortunate to receive a grant through the Irish National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), part of the European Union’s NextGenerationEU programme. This funding has played an important role in helping us close the digital divide and support students who may be at risk of educational disadvantage.
- With this support, we were able to:Equip our Special/Additional Educational Needs Department with iPads, giving students with a variety of learning needs access to technology both in SET rooms and during in-class support.
- Purchase a full class set of iPads with trolleys, so that more students can use technology regularly as part of their learning and enjoy greater access to the curriculum.
We are very grateful to the government and NextGenerationEU for this investment in our school. Thanks to their support, our students now have more opportunities to learn, create, and thrive with the help of digital tools.
