First Class – Laptops and Ipods

The children have been learning how to use the keyboard on the laptop and the QWERTY typing system. They are learning how to navigate MS Word.

Ransboro gets Biodiversity Green Flag.

On the 19th of May, Anna, Cormac, SNA Mrs.Nearn and Mrs. O’Rourke, representing our  Green School Committee, went to Claremorris to receive the Biodiversity Green Flag . Visit to the seashore in Strandhill

On Wednesday 20th of May, 5th class and the green school committee had a biodiversity day out. Olivia from An Taisce and The Clean Coast programme visited our class. Sixth class computer work

Green School Competition

The green school committee organised a competition in November where children had to come up with a slogan to promote biodiversity.  The entries were to be in by the 12th of December.  We received a great response and we got many great slogans and also great artwork. The biodiversity awareness assembly

Last Friday the Green school Committee presented an assembly on biodiversity to all the classes in the school. We spoke about what biodiversity is, what it means and how we can protect it.
