Yesterday, the 25th of June, we went on our school tour to Donegal Adventure Centre. Here are some photos of our day away.
On the pitch we had some races, played some games and tried the tug-of-war.
After all our exercise we got lovely ice creams from Mammy Johnstons.
On the astro we used the space hoppers and the scooters.
On Sports Day we had two bouncy castles.
On Friday it was Sports Day we had great fun playing with the parachute.
Last Thursday, Aoibhínn Buckley came into school and gave all classes a dance lesson. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We learned the steps to the dance ‘I like to move it, move it,’! Thank you so much Aoibhínn for volunteering your time to teach us some cool dance moves, we hope to try them out over the summer!
Sports day was on Friday June 22nd and we had such great fun! Activities included: bouncy castle, parachute games, space-hoppers, scooters, skis, dodgeball, simple orienteering, bench ball, tug of war, co-operative games and races.
Today we were dancing with Aoibhin Buckley. Senior Infants were dancing with us. We also played some games out on the basketball court.
Today Kyle joined us on his bike to cycle a k with us. He enjoyed showing off his cycling skills. Well done to the walkers, runners and cyclist.
