2nd Class School Tour

We had a great day on our tour to Kids Kingdom and Forest Park.


Room on the Broom

Junior and Senior Infants went to the Hawks Well Theatre on Mon March 27th to see Room on the Broom. Afterwards they went to Kevinsfort playground for lunch and play time! The children loved Room on the Broom and were very lucky to get such a nice sunny day at the park!


Senior Infants Tour

Junior and Senior Infants went on their school tour last Thursday to Tumble Jungle in Ballina.  On the way back we stopped at the playground in Dromard.  We had great fun and we were all very tired after our day out! Here are some photos…    


School Tour 1st Class

This year 1st and 2nd Class went to ‘Castle Adventure’ farm and playground in Ballyshannon. It really was a tour to remember! The Fire station

Senior Infants visited Sligo Fire Station and Kevinsfort Playground today. The fire fighters showed us the equipment they use to help rescue people from fires and car crashes. Second Class at Dublin Zoo

Second class had a great time on their visit to Dublin Zoo. The children had their photograph taken with a giant strawberry and brought home strawberries and a t-shirt as part of their prize. We wandered round the zoo looking at all the different animals, had a lovely lunch in the Meerkat Restaurant and then completed our tour of the zoo. In class we

Field Trip to Carrowmore

Our visit to Carrowmore In  September 5th and 6th classes visited Carrowmore megalithic cemetery. An archaeologist named Padraic gave us a tour of the site. We learned lots of historic facts about this area. The tombs were created from 3500bc to 4000bc by men to honour their dead. Carrowmore Field Trip

Fifth and sixth classes recently went on a field trip to Carrowmore Tombs, one of the four major passage tomb complexes in Ireland. Our tour guide, Padraig, began by showing us around the interpretive centre and explaining the history of the area. We then embarked on a guided tour of some of the ancient burial sites. Oklahoma

On Wednesday the 13th of November,3rd class to 6th class went to Summerhill College to see the Summerhill and  Mercy students perform the musical ‘Oklahoma’. We all went on the bus to Summerhill and we entered the hall. There was a stage at the front.
