Confirmation

On Thursday 16th of May 6th class in Ransboro and Strandhill School made their Confirmation. The mass was on in Ransboro church and at eleven o’clock the bishop started the mass. 6th Class Donation to Sligo Cancer Support Centre

Today, June 6th, we had a visitor in 6th class. A really nice lady called Maureen from the Sligo Cancer Support Centre. She came so that we could present her with a cheque for €500! We grew watercress seeds!

      We grew watercress seeds in our class.  We put some compost into a yogurt pot and planted some seeds in it.  We watered our seeds every day and placed them in sunlight.  Our seeds grew in a few days! We also set up two control pots – Pot 1 was watered but placed in darkness, Pot 2 was placed in sunlight and not watered.

RACE NIGHT

Sarah & Humphrey!

        We had a visit from Mr. O’ Hara and his two pet lambs, Sarah and Humphrey!  They are four weeks old.  They need to be fed four times a day with milk.  Mr. O’Hara fed the lambs with a bottle, they drank the milk very quickly and were wagging their tails really fast!  The lambs were very friendly and we

Fire Station Visit!
