Active Schools Week – Dance class

Last Thursday, Aoibhínn Buckley came into school and gave all classes a dance lesson.  We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We learned the steps to the dance ‘I like to move it, move it,’!  Thank you so much Aoibhínn for volunteering your time to teach us some cool dance moves, we hope to try them out over the summer!

First Class Soccer Skills

First Class have just enjoyed a soccer training session with Albin’s dad, Brian. We did dribbling and goal practise. Everyone had a great time! Spelling Bee

Well done to 6th class pupil Lisa Kilfeather who competed in the Connaught finals for the Easons Spelling Bee in Galway on Tuesday.  She did so well to get to this stage in the competition and we were all very proud of her.


6th Class Confirmation

Meet Our Martians!

In First Class we are learning about Adjectives. We made a martian on the Ipods and then wrote about our martian in our copies where we focused on using as many adjectives as we could.
