Trains and Buddies in Junior Infants

Last week we painted trains then our buddies helped us to stick on different shapes for the wheels, funnels and engines.

Shapes in the Environment

Today we went outside to find examples of different shapes. We found lots of rectangles, squares, circles and semi-circles but not many triangles. There were lots of large shapes on the basketball court that we could all stand on and walk around.

The run had to be 2m in length and they were free to come up with whatever design and obstacles they wished. The finished projects were amazing! They were all so
