Active Schools Week – Dance class

Last Thursday, Aoibhínn Buckley came into school and gave all classes a dance lesson.  We all thoroughly enjoyed it. We learned the steps to the dance ‘I like to move it, move it,’!  Thank you so much Aoibhínn for volunteering your time to teach us some cool dance moves, we hope to try them out over the summer!

First Class Soccer Skills

Minibeast hunt

Last week we went on a minibeast hunt.  See photos….      


Ipods and a QR Hunt!

A few weeks ago we had a QR hunt around our school.  We used an app called Inigma on the Ipods to reveal a question about people who help us.  There were twelve questions in total. We worked in pairs, it was great fun :)!

Meet Our Martians!

In First Class we are learning about Adjectives. We made a martian on the Ipods and then wrote about our martian in our copies where we focused on using as many adjectives as we could. In Aistear this month, we are learning about people who help us.  There are lots of people who help us. Joe’s daddy is a Paramedic with Meath Ambulance Service and he took time out to come and talk to us today about his work as a Paramedic and he also volunteers with the Coastguard.
