Last week we decided to enter RTÉ’s News Today’s Christmas Art Competition in order to be in with a chance of turning on the Christmas lights at the RTÉ studios. As daily viewers of the bulletin and as fantastic artists, we thought-why not! This years title was ‘My Christmas Wish’ and we were asked to submit a drawing or painting based on that title.

In our first term, we studied Pompeii and its infamous volcanic mountain, Mount Vesuvius. Combining five curricular areas, we created a project on Pompeii, named ‘The Pompeii Project’.
