My grandad’s uncle was Martin Savage who dedicated his life for the Irish. He fought in the GPO in the 1916 Rising. He surrendered to the British and was interned after the Rising. The school library was completed as part of the 2001 extension of the school. It gave a great focus to reading and was in constant use by all of the classes.
