Well done to everyone who represented the school at the Sligo Primary Schools Cross Country on Saturday 8th October at Sligo I.T. We entered a team in each of the 4 categories – Junior Girls, Junior Boys (3rd and 4th classes) and Senior Girls and Senior Boys (5th and 6th classes).
Three children qualified for the Connacht Cross Country – Cathal Gilligan (junior), Anna McDaniel (junior) and Ryan Gillen (senior) finishing first, fourth and third respectively.
A number of children came close to securing a place, hopefully they’ll keep up the running and try again next year.
We had a great turn out of parents and siblings to cheer the runners on.
