Spelling Bee

Congratulations to Rosha who represented Ransboro NS in the county final of the Sligo Spelling Bee. The competition was held recently in Calry NS.  Participants from 21 schools around Sligo competed and the standard of spelling was extremely high. Rosha performed admirably, making it through to the fifth round of the competition. Among the spellings asked on the day were vulnerability, ethnomethodology, tyranny and vernacular.The victorious speller on the day spelled ‘icosohedron’ successfully to win the competition.
