Christmas Nativity Service

P1050841All pupils from the school took part in our annual Nativity Service in Ransboro Church on Thursday December 18th. Parents, grandparents and friends joined us in the church to watch the pupils retell the story of the Nativity.

This year, we decided to tell the story of the birth of Jesus through verse. Interspersed with the verses, traditional and modern carols were sung. Jacob from 4th class played a couple of tunes on the flute.

Towards the end of the service, the singing group, which was set up in September, gave some beautiful renditions of three-part choral singing, particularly Carol of the Bells. The service finished up with the Band-Aid song “Do they Know It’s Christmas?”

Many thanks to all who joined us in the church and a special thank you to Kieran Quinn for the accompaniment on the keyboards this year.
