The theme we are working on in Aistear is The Post Office. Last week, we had a visit from a Post Person, called Bernie. Bernie talked to us about her job and showed us the equipment she uses. While most of us are sleeping, Bernie is busy sorting and delivering post to customers from Stephen Street up to the Sligo Park Hotel.
Bernie also had a surprise for us; An Post will make a SPECIAL COLLECTION, from our school, of letters to Santa Claus on December 10th!!
We are very grateful to Bernie for taking the time out to visit us, we appreciate that this is a very busy time of year for her! Thank you very much Bernie, from all of us in Senior Infants!
