Gaelic Skills Competition
On Tuesday the 19th of February Charlie Harrison from the Sligo Gaelic team came to our school. He told us that there was a skills competition coming up soon. Three girls and three boys from 5th and 6th classes would represent our school. All the girls and boys had to try out doing solos and aiming at the post. We were given points on how well we did. Out of the two classes the girls who got through are Lauren, Eimear and Caoimhe O. The boys who got through are Alan, John Mc and Anthony. The six pupils represented the school at the finals but unfortunately did not progress any further. Well done to all for taking part.
