Book Review: Snakehead

SnakeheadThe name of the book is Snakehead. It is about a fourteen year old boy called Alex Ryder. He was recruited by MI6 to work as a spy. The author’s name is Anthony Horowitz. Alex Ryder’s parents were killed in a plane crash when he was only a baby. His uncle Ian Ryder adopted him but he was killed in a car crash when Alex was fourteen. The story takes place in India where he meets his other uncle called Ash whom he never knew about. They are spying on a terrorist called Major Yu. He is planning to set off a bomb in the San Andrea’s fault line. The main characters are Alex,Ash and Major Yu.

I really enjoyed this book and once I started reading I couldn’t stop. My favourite part in the story is when Alex meets the uncle he never knew. I would definitely read other books in this series. I would recommend this book to a friend. I think it deserves ten out of ten. This book was a very good read and I hope that the other books in this series are good as well. This is now one of my favourite books that I have read. This was a really great book and you should read it too as it’s really good.
