On the 15th of October, fifth class started constructing models of Celtic ring forts, hill forts, as well as crannógs. We drew up plans and used a variety of materials to create our structures. Some children brought in plastic animals to be part of a farm belonging to the Celts! There was great excitement and creativity in the class. We worked well in groups sharing ideas and tasks within the group. Here are two of our completed projects:
