Hans Christian Andersen

In January we started reading Hans Christian Andersen stories like “The Ugly Duckling”, “The Emeror’s New Clothes”, “The Little Match Girl”, “The Princess and the Pea” and “The Little Nightingale”. We really enjoyed them and we would like to read some more. We would like to tell you about “The Emperor’s New Clothes”.

The Emperor’s New Clothes is about an Emperor who loves new clothes. Two men came to make him a new suit but they were not going to make him a suit at all. They just wanted money and gold string. So they just pretended that they were making a suit. Everybody heard about the new suit so they came to see it. But nobody could see it, but they didn’t want to say it. Then a little boy said “He has no clothes on”. By the time the Emperor found out the men had already gone.
